Lindsey Slavin

Lindsey is a fourth-year counseling psychology doctoral candidate with specialized foci in sport psychology and child, couple, and family psychology at University of North Texas (UNT). She earned her Master of Science in Psychology at UNT and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Marketing from the University of Miami. Her research interests involve exploring how certain psychosocial factors (e.g., mindfulness, resilience, use of mental health counseling) and demographic factors (e.g., race/ethnicity, gender) relate to the psychological well-being (e.g., depression, anxiety) and performance of high-stress cohorts (e.g., athletes, soldiers, military spouses).
